Meet James Lowman

My name is James L. Lowman, and I was born and raised in the Kansas City Metro Area, living currently in Independence, Missouri for over 25 years. I attended Truman High School, then enrolled at Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, MO, and sought further education at Rockhurst College.

Professional Life

I began my professional life in Radio in the Kansas City Metro, getting my start on WDAF 61 Country. Later, I traveled around the world modernizing radio stations for Broadcast Electronics out of Quincy, Illinois. I had the opportunity to return to Kansas City to become the Director of Information Technology (IT) for Entercom Radio, and after spending many years in the Radio Business, I founded and currently run an independent IT Support company out of Kansas City.

Importance of Being Active in Our Community

My days in military school taught me the importance of being active in my community. I have been, and continue to be involved in many volunteer and nonprofit organizations in the metro area, and throughout the State of Missouri, serving on numerous executive boards.
I am asking for your vote to serve you as Missouri State Representative for the State House District 30! I am running to give the Missouri voters in our district a voice in Jefferson City. Your concerns, priorities, and needs are what I want to hear from you, the voters Missouri District 30!

Common Sense and Cooperation

I want to serve you from the District 30 seat with common sense and cooperation with all members of the House. We can continue to drive Missouri towards future growth and always be known as “The Great State of Missouri!”
